Our Policy for Cancellations: Public Classes

We cancel on you

Commitment #1 to you:  It is our intention to hold every scheduled QAI Training Class.

Commitment #2 to you: Reasonable Notification for Cancellation  Your time is valuable.  You will be provided no less than 2 weeks cancellation notice in the event that a training session is cancelled. No last minute cancellations and last minute planning on your part because a training company didn't do their part.

When you register for a training class, we understand that you are blocking anywhere from one-to-five valuable work days from your calendar. You don't want to lose those days.  If a QAI training class is cancelled, you will be provided at least 2 weeks advance cancellation notice so that you can re-fill your schedule with valuable activities.

Commitment #3 to you: 100% Refund is your first option If we cancel the training course that you elected to attend, a refund is option #1 for you.  A prompt refund will be applied when requested.

Commitment #4  to you: FREE Training if we cancel on you :We still want your business  If we cancel on you, we want you to know that we still want you as a customer.  So should QAI have to cancel the class that you registered to attend, we'll try to make it worth your while to stay with us.  If you'll re-schedule with QAI to another training session (same location or other locations) you will be offered a FREE training class for someone else in your company.  It is our way of saying sorry, we tried, but give us another chance.

With so many classes to choose from in such a variety of locations, it is inevitable that a training class is cancelled from time-to-time.  We've given away over $500,000 worth of FREE training since we started this improved cancellation program in 2002. It is worth every penny to us in order to keep our customers happy and to let them know that we would like to keep them as our customers.

We want your business. We are willing to work for it. We're putting our money where our mouth is: $500,000 worth of FREE training to keep our customers as our customers.

Our business is training and it shows.

You need to cancel on us

You want to switch participants:  No problems, No Charge  You can 'plug-and-play' attendees any time that you like all the way up to the time of the seminar.  Remember that you can always send someone in your place so that way you don't have to incur any penalties for cancellation.

Sale Price classes are not refundable: a registration for a class that is listed in a specially advertised sale is fully committed at the time of sale.  Refunds or reschedules are not available for registrations for training that is listed in a specially advertised sale.

Provide us with at least 31 days notice:  You provide us with at least 31 days notice of your need to cancel your registration and we'll provide you with a prompt refund less 10% credit card processing fees ( if payment was made by credit card).  No questions asked and we'll look forward to catching up with you when the dust settles.

Provide us with 16-30 days notice: 50% Cancellation Fee or send a replacement at no charge  Don't forget you can send a replacement if you'd rather not pay the penalty. However, if you need to cancel and have to suffer the penalty please don't forget that the 50% penalty is 50% of a great low price.  

You see, when a class is 'about ready to go' and less than 30-days from start time, we begin making conference arrangements, solidifying contracts with trainers, making plane flight reservations, committing to hotel banquet services, and sending final confirmation notices to those students that have registered to attend. So, should you have to cancel with 16-30 days notice, we hope that you'll understand that your change of plans affects many persons and business plans. We would much rather that you stay your original plan and attend than to have to charge you a cancellation penalty. But, if you cancel with only 16-30 days notice you will be assessed a 50% penalty. 

Less than 16 days notice:  100% Cancellation Fee or send a replacement at no charge
Last minute things happen all the time.  You can always send someone in your place and salvage the money that you or your company has invested.  Remember that QAI will always provide you with at least two weeks notice of cancellation if we have to cancel on you. With two weeks or less to go until your training class, 'everything' is locked in and committed: hotel conference room space is rented, trainers are on notice, food services personnel are preparing for you, UPS shipments are made, and we are prepared to provide you with outstanding training.  Unfortunately though, 'things happen' and we know and we understand.  Please understand that at this point in the planning process, we were planning on you being there. Again, send someone in your place or prepare yourself for your penalty: 100% forfeiture.  You committed  to have us train you and we would much prefer to train you than to charge you for training that you are choosing not to attend.

This policy does represent years of refinements and adjustments made solely to preserve the schedule for those students that have registered to attend a class and continue their commitment through the end of the class. QAI never varies from policy.
