This one day, eight hour course is designed both as an Introduction to AS9100 and as a Management Overview for AS9100
The 'Big 13' have declared that compliance to AS9100 is required by all vendors. In addition to the substantial changes related to ISO9001:2000 the industry is requiring strict compliance by registrar auditors during the audit to utilize the AS9101 Checklist document (although the use of the document is described in the one-day training class detailed coverage of the checklist itself is covered in day two of the Internal Auditor version of this course).
In the overview course, a seasoned, industry auditor will lead a brisk discussion covering in detail the AS9100 standard including evolving changes in interpretation, process auditing and its effect on the external audit, and how the AS9101 checklist is used by the Industries third part audit force. Specially developed, industry specific case studies help students see the standard from the auditors perspective so that examining your own system helps you with your compliance effort.
An eye opening experience for anyone involved in management and as a management representative for an Aerospace/AS9100 supplier.
