This is a comprehensive review of the ISO 9001 standard with a relatively easy to use module. The best part was being able to do this training remotely, in a space that was best suited for my personal learning. I've struggled with in-person training in the past and the ability to follow along with the training module while the course was going on was particularly helpful for me.

The instructor was very engaged and kept things interesting. This was quite above my expectations! On the negative side we were encouraged to work on the quizzes while instruction was going on. If the quizzes are supposed to reinforce the instruction then that can't happen. The quizzes just ended up being a check in the box rather than reinforcement.

The training matrix was great and such a helpful tool. Every training needs a training matrix! The presenter was engaging and used a lot of good examples. Jeri, our instructor, is very educated. She walked through each clause slowly and gave real life experiences that helped me relate the clauses. I was nervous about the virtual training for this, but it has not disappointed me. When reading off the slides it was hard to follow along. I did have the standard in front of me which helped follow along and make notes. All the resources stated we needed came in handy. Great class overall.

I found the history of 9001 interesting and increased my perceived value and motivation for conforming to the standard. Only having been audited being my only experience with the auditing process, I found this training very beneficial to helping me see and understand the entire system. It was a little overwhelming with the amount of information presented in a short time, but the clause matrix made it easier to navigate the content. I did not find the online portal very intuitive. The content is of good quality, and I anticipate being able to use the slide decks etc. in the future, but the layout is not very user friendly, or at least takes some time to understand. The information/instructions are well documented, but they don't lend themselves very useful for a first user.

The course was well planned and the instructor was knowledgeable and helpful throughout. The breaks and lunch times were appropriate and gave the ability to decompress and reset while keeping the training flowing. All in all I feel the course was well done and the tools available are great for being successful. Some of the sections are a bit long and tedious but that is the nature of the ISO standards. I do not feel any remediation is needed but that is the only negative I can think of.

I feel unless you have a sturdy background in ISO already, this course will not be beneficial. Materials were read off really quickly, the mini-quizzes gave you the answers nearly instantly so you don't actually have to learn anything.
